Saigon's best work is still those Repercussions / Stocking Cap / True Story / Letter P tracks.

They were catchy and fun...in a way his later material isn't.

Saigon is at his best when he raps gully..with gully beats. This album has too much singing sing songy tracks. The track with styles p was kind of a let down boring track. The vowel song was probably the dopest track on that piece yo lol 4real tho the album was ok at best

It's good, haven't quite finished it yet. It's a step down but to me the difference is that this album sounds more like it belongs with the current climate of music. His "debut" sounded like an album that he was on an island like Tom Hanks in Castaway when he recorded it. It sounded somewhat dated but still hungry, fresh air.

Its not terrible cause some of the tracks are alright. But dude is a hop, skip and a jump away from Gospel rap

Giving this another listen

Through 4 songs I like "Let Me Run" a lot more than I did my first listen.

Plant the Seed is okay. Don't like the hook as much as you'd expect from Sai

So far..

Plant the Seed- 4 mics
Rap vs Real- 5 mics
Let Me Run- 3.5 mics
Not like Them- 4.5 mics

Brownsville Girl- Sounds like a really dope mixtape track. 4 mics

The Game Changer- Love Marsha Ambrosius. Her track on GSNT was one of my favorites. "It's alright" I'm sittin at 4.75 mics. But there are times this sounds like a 5 mic classic. 4.75 mics

Blown Away- A good song to put someone onto Saigon. I could see this and Game Changer on GSNT1. Sittin at 4.75 mics

When Will U love Me- This is truly dope. "Sat across the street and just stared at the church and it hurt" Damn.. me too Sai. Feeling this one a lot today. Considering 5 mics with this one too. 4.75 mics

Vowel Song- Lol

Best Thing That I Found- Not my favorite religious song by Saigon. Sounds a little better today though. 4 mics

Relafriendship- I ain't gon front when this song came on I didn't recognize I heard it til the "Relafriendship" part.. Maybe its cause i kinda relate to this shyt now but this shyt dope. "Me and mama got a lot of commonality.. I dont wanna have to introduce her to abnormality" 4 mics aint gon front

Yeah Yeah- Hated this shyt when I first heard it. But it's kinda raw for real. Think i heard this before or somethin. 3 mics

I'll do the rest later got blunts to smoke

this is a pretty good album i just wish it flowed from song to song like part 1 did.if he named this album another name people would have liked it more.but by giving it that name and not having the same production quality and theme behind it let people down.

i love the game changer and the forever dreamin songs, both produced by canei finch. dude laced giddy on those songs- and the 2nd one was a dope tribute to chris lighty. album is a very good listen to me. i think he killed that keep pushing song with chamillionaire also.

I like it when Saigon has concsiousness and meanings in his songs, as long as it sounds natural and from the heart it's all good.

album doesnt t0uch GSNT but it still bangs. Only thing this album was missing was promotion. There's a bunch of potential singles. if "Best Thing That I found" was made as a video using the same visuals the rock group Creed uses in their video visuals that could be a potential hit.
