Tech isn't eating like a lot of you assume he is. Even if he is co owner of the label he still has to advance himself the money for production of the album. Everything from manufacturing to advertising. If being independent was truly the most lucrative way to make music these major labels would of been dead.

Thats kinda a flop for Thicke tho. I feel like I hear that song every 5 minutes

He didn't have a strong enough follow-up single to push the idea that the album as a whole is worth buying, not just the single.

you never know. that one album he had flopped and then he dropped "lost with out you " and had a surge in sales. i don't know what else he got on there but it could happen

Thicke gon' be making bank off this. nikka probably recouped off the back of Blurred Lines itself. Any additional album sales and a subsequent tour gon' be straight $ in on 'ol dudes pockets. He definitely got a few jawns on the album that can work on radio too.

Idk know who else is independent but I know tech is so 56'000 x lets say 10 a cd thats over half a mill, the cd prolly took him under 50 racks to make. Shhhit thats a good flip to me to still get to make the music u want and not have to fukk with ppl u dont like

wow the white boy gone hit a mill before hov. I never thought I seen the say day when a white boy from like fukkn Seattle or some shyt sale more and talk more shyt that ppl can relate to then my nikka jigga smh. Like the white nikka made a hit about rockin cheap shyt and still being fly making it ok. nikkas really do be at Dd's discount with like 35 in they pocket on the come up tryna find a fit :lolbron: Sad but its real. None of are g.o.a.t have did that smh. (Random thought)

s/o jcole I think thats a sucess

I think wale gone hit gold fasho

And we all know yay gone do his thing:yeshrug:

didn't expect wale to be this far behind cole, but I did think his album was a step back. tried to hit too many lanes. bad was released too long ago and for him to cake off. I thought he desperately needed a video for that Rihanna remix.

clappers still go tho :dj2:
