Afghanistan-Creation Taliban and Al Qaeda - In 1978 Pro-Soviet Afghan government made changes to modernized the country. The West being against anything socialist back in the day. Trained and supplied the Mujaheddin. The Mujaheddin defeated the soviets, and will later become the Taliban and Al Qaeda
Iran-Islamic Theocracy- Iranian democratically elected a secular government in 1951. That government was very modern but did not like the way the British had control of there oil industry. The West staged a coup in 1953 which the CIA admitted to and put in placed the Shah Monarchy, this monarchy was ruthless and suppress the population. The people got fed up, the Islamic Revolution occurred in 1979 and a Islamic Theocracy came to power.
Saudi Arabia-Wahhabism - Until 1918 Mecca was ruled by the Ottoman Turks and the King of Jordan. The Saudi's were desert tribes from the eastern part of Arabia. The Saudi's wanted control of all of Arabia, so they made a pact with a Muslim extremist Wahhabi that supported there territorial ambitions if they supported and practice his extreme brand of Islam. Wahhabi hated the "Liberal" version of Islam practiced by the Ottomans. The Saudi's sided with the British against the Ottomans. The Western power's helped the Saudi's Control all of Arabia and Mecca. Which started to export an extreme form of Islam

Islam by itself, is bad. Period.
Its like you all want this same fukking history lesson any time someone speaks as if that excuses islam from being a crux of bad ideas.
