Didn't see a thread on this. I'm going from the S24 Ultra to the S26 Ultra. It isn't my primary phone which will remain an iPhone 15 Pro Max but I figured it's time to dump this phone before the trade in value tanks too much.

Also going from the Buds Pro 3 to the Pro 4 because why not?

Paying $800 for both combined after tax with 512GBs of storage. Also comes with a $30 Best Buy gift card. Good deal IMO.

Im keeping the s25 Ultra..pixel 9 pro had a strange camera m9dule opening that didn't make it when I ran it under water to wash off that sauce. So my secondary phone will be Chinese this time...Honor more likely. Soon.

I feel they really have been stagnant in innovation. Im not expecting game changing features. But they're just like Apple making minuscule progress expecting premium prices.

Objectively the Chinese are smoking anything from anywhere else. My only issue is I want full compatibility. I'm far removed from the root game. I don't want to side load stuff anymore.

Even android auto is sometimes not supported

Exactly. But Samsung and apple have their balls deep in this bytch ass countrys throat to let these chinese companies threaten their market share.

I can see if theres specific apps you rely on that are not compatible with other os from Chinese brands. I just need Google so I hope the transition will be okay.

I haven't messed with the privacy screen feature yet. I'll get around to it. I've seen complaints about the screen. I have none though.

Privacy screen on the Ultra is legit intriguing. I have one on both my iPhone and iPad. Would love a built in one.

Still rocking with my 25 Ultra. Powerful phone but camera is the main thing I care about since I record my son's games of a tripod. When I reup in 2028, camera will drive my decision again.

How so? I follow my rules very well. The only things I buy are things I have the cash to pay for at the time of purchase. My only exception is a home which I also don't own.

I'm not a frugal person. I'm more Ramit Sethi than anything if you know his golden rule.
