Samsung joins Panasonic in dropping Plasma TVs

This is their last year. LG is the last one left starting next year. Plasma is pretty much a dead tech.

depends on what you're using the TV for and the watching environment. For a proper home theater Plasma is way better if you create the dark environment and all that. Playing video games probably not.
