Some of it is the cost of living. Some of it is mental health, and that we have closed down so many mental hospitals. Most were inhumane but we do know more about mental health now. Unfortunately there's a lot of people who are never going to be able to live on their own, or hold down a job. Many can function with a job, but need the stability of a group home. We need facilities for these people, and each one different depending on the situation.
