It's actually pretty bad in terms of pricing, especially within the city. Airbnb is fukking up the market as well.

My cousin and her husband wanted to buy property. They are a black couple and my cousin's husband works for apple, engineer geek. The bought a house, in the suburbs of SACREMENTO 3 hours away :mjlo
l:

house is nice, but they have to make a big sacrifice.

If you own rental property in the bay right now, you are eating!

Damn.

Damn that's ridiculous when you really think about it... Nothing but greed.......but i do wonder how ppl in S.F and NYC Make ends meet tho cause with only my wife and our daughter its hard enough in San Diego and we are a bonafide six figure household and most household's in this country are not

You're wrong

They bought a house in Roseville.

According to google it is 2 hours and 30 minutes from my Silicon Valley where my cousin's husband works.

About 2 hours from San Francisco.

Add ridiculous traffic and it's definitely 3 hours or more.

Roseville is 15 minutes from sactown.

Nah you wrong breh, just take the L and KIM. You now trying to move goalpost by talking about traffic and estimates of it and Silicon Valley instead of San Fran. You adding a lot of stuff to support your statement that wasn't stated in your first post.

The thing I ponder about places that people say are sky high to live in, is; everyone is not balling, there are people making minimum wages in these cities; if they are so bad, how can the average person live there?

I really don't care whether you think im right or wrong. If my cousins says it takes 3 hours to get to the north Bay from Roseville, I'm going to believe them :beli:

And last time I drove from SF to tahoe it took me 4 hours to get to Roseville :mjlol:

Watts' $1B Makeover Worries Some Residents

Developer The Michaels Organization of New Jersey plans to build 1,400 new apartments, shops and restaurants to transform the dilapidated housing project. But some residents fear they'll be displaced, despite being told they wouldn't as long as they're in good standing with the housing authority.

"I grew up with these people," said Minister Mac Shorty, of the Watts Neighborhood Council. "I love them to death – hate to see them leave and go."

"All of our neighbors back to back right here. We all talk to each other," Paola Gomez said.

Buscaino assured residents Thursday that those in good standing would not be displaced.

"Our message is absolutely not, not under my watch," he said. "It's a one for one housing development - 700 units, 700 families."

They said they said the same shyt when knocking down chicago projects :mjpls:rebuild & only let 5% of the original residents move back (mostly senior residents)
