Random fukked up people on the street is just fukked up people on the street. They're harmless.

100x worse is whoever the fukk taught those kids gang signs.

I don't know a single kid whose life was ruined because he walked by homeless people but I know hundreds of kids who were ruined by being too close to gang activity.

Having recently traveled to the Pacific Northwest, I was surprised by how clean and safe cities like Seattle and Vancouver felt in comparison to San Francisco.

That's kinda crazy cause Vancouver has one of the WOAT homeless areas of any city. It's called the Downtown Eastside. They make the rest of the city look better by funnelling everything to there.

Okay so what is the answer? I Guarantee you San Fran has tried every compassionate option available. That’s what the Bay Area has been known for, but clearly it isn’t working.

:laff:

San Fran doesn't give a flying fukk about affordable housing and could be doing 10x as much to combat drug addiction and mental illness. They got an insane # of rich people there and don't spend nearly the resources they could to address the issues.

There are plenty of places that have done a good job of reducing/limiting homelessness.

I somehow missed this area altogether.:patrice:

I was over by the steam clock, which looks like it borders the dt Eastside. Interesting.

Yeah, the DTES is very close to that commercial district. It also borders Chinatown. But unless you have a reason to go there you'll completely miss it (which is also true of Skid Row in LA).

That being said, the DTES isn't much different from any other place full of homeless people. Other than stepping on a needle it's perfectly safe, you're more likely to get hit by a car than attacked by a homeless person.

Queen City
They would find shelter for them if they identified as LGBT
We have kids in elementary making gun gestures but they don't learn that from the TV and Media. Thank goodness for Californias strict gun laws because they will never get their hands on one:whew:

Money well spent by Gavin Newsom airing ads to Floridians who fled his state instead of tackling gentrification and homelessness.

One thing about Democrats is the mismanagement of tax payer funds and homeless/gang problems.

You have no idea what you’re talking about and all those articles are irrelevant. I think you should research more about the bay because ALL OF THOSE THINGS IN THE ARTICLE HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTED HERE. :heh:

THEY LITERALLY GAVE HOMELESS PEOPLE HOTEL ROOMS DURING COVID. They have programs where You can have a free hotel room and or studio apartment. But guess what that did, just turn entire motels into heroin dens… Most homeless people don’t use these services or go to shelters because they have drug use rules….THEY OFFER PERM HOUSING AND 70% denied it….

They give out cell phones and free money to the homeless…($520 per month!!!)

What the fukk does “having rich people” have to do with stopping homelessness

THATS IRRELEVANT…

Homelessness has decreased 15% here since 2019, but it still feels like the walking dead because hundreds of homeless move here per month from OTHER STATES BECAUSE THEY KNOWNTHEY CAN GET A CELL PHONE AND $520 per month AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPEN AIR DRUG MARKETS,

SAN FRAN IS BASICALLY VEGAS FOR HOMELESS DRUG ADDICTS…
