that's cap

nobody was calling the seahawks, bucs and shyt all time until they won. same with the saints
i cant speak on early 90s teams

on the flip side you have all time teams like the patriots who lost.

Eagles weren't even a no.1 seed.

I don't agree that the Saints, Seahawks or Bucs were all time teams. Bucs and Seahawks were all time defenses though.

those hyper defensive teams arent balanced enough in the same way we are

we are beating the pats, ravens and bucs with ease. pats barely beat an eagles team that is bad offensively compared to this one ....................and about even defensively

The 04 Eagles were 8th and 9th in scoring O and ranked O, the 24 Eagles were 7th and 8th, I believe

The Pats didn't barely beat the Eagles, especially if you say the Eagles didn't just barely beat the Rams.

lmao what??

green bay was dominated from beginning to end.
the rams were dominated as well and we let our foot off the gas...so what...it happens. the game was over after that saquon run

a lot of the same teams being mentioned also had close victories...damn near every pats superbowl was close. whats your point???

btw...the eagles probably got a good 5 future hall of famers on the team right now

Barkley
AJ
Hurts
Lane
Carter

hell even Sirianni might get there
:hubie:
I'll pump the brakes on those.

Only Lane really has a strong strong case since he's played for 12 seasons. It's very hard for WR to make it, so saying Brown is probable is a reach. Carter has played 2 seasons. Hurts was questioned even this season. Barkley is on a great trajectory though.

We were loaded everywhere, not just big names...but rookies, backups, etc...

We literally didn't have one major weakness

Not arguing otherwise. But to be in the top 5 all time conversation you need an elite roster combined with dominant performance in regular season and postseason. Philly may have had an elite roster but ain't get the one seed, then had two tight home games against unimpressive opponents. That killed the argument. 2024 Washington is legit one of the worst teams to make the conference championship this century, nobody impressed with blowing them out. The Chiefs are who we thought they were, and their luck finally ran out.

85 Bears
89 Niners
91 Skins
92-93 Cowboys
94 Niners
96 Packers
98 Broncos
00 Ravens
02 Bucs
04 Patriots

Not even getting into the early 80s and before but :comeon:

Weak schedule, easy playoff path and barely escaped against a mid ass Rams team at home. The Chiefs was fraudulent all year and without historic luck combined with weekly ref assistance wouldn't have even made the playoffs
You sound, upset. How much money did you lose betting against the eagles last season?

Talking about performance versus "on paper" are two different things. The Eagles on paper with their roster playing to their maximum ability are up there (Hurts is still not that good), but they didn't perform at that level the entire season.:manny:.

Winning by one possession in the postseason is standard...in the two games that mattered, 95-45

He did what he needed to do to win, and he played well when it mattered most.

I still don’t completely trust him, especially if Saquon, Smith, or Brown are out at all, but he showed up when it mattered most….with a HOF caliber HB and loaded defense.
