CJ move stings but is also understandable when factoring in $. We can't keep talking about how our core (particularly defensive) is so young but also not have the foresight to realize they're gonna require alot of coins to keep them in Eagle green in another 2-3 years.

Q, Coop, Carter, Nolan Smith, Nakobe, Reed, Jordan, etc. The money has to come from somewhere. There are younger replacements for everyone that's walked so far that are already on the team. Time to show and prove. :manny:

It's crazy that Milt is now the 3rd highest paid DT in the league

Howie had a decision to potentially have two top 5 paid DTs in Milt & Carter...or just draft & develop young guys to offset costs

Howie made the right decision in letting Milt walk...and we will get a 3rd rd comp pick next yr...so we could potentially have three 3rd rd picks in 26, which is necessary when trying to build a well rounded roster

I remember when that eagles scour was mad at Howie during the 21 draft when we took Milt instead of trading up to get Alim McNeill...they both ended up being good players and both got a bag

I just hate not retaining guys drafted in the first 3 rounds when they actually hit

My concerns going into next season are RG, CB, LB, S, DT, and Edge

We're putting a lot of faith in Green/Steen, Sydney Brown, Ringo, Ojomo, Trotter & Hunt

Practically never happens, a generational talent like Carter falling in their lap changed the outlook at DT. Milt would've been extended with Dikkerson and Smitty last year under normal circumstances.

I'm really interested to see what they do with Jordan Davis, Nakobe getting hurt put a pin in that and we know Jurgens is getting his deal before training camp. Davis is fascinating because he's good and fills a needed role, but he hasn't turned into the true 3 down player they hoped for.
