ummm actually low or high says nothing about intelligence, you've been in the same system I have these standardized tests don't measure intelligence but how well you you can regurgitate trivial information.

1400 isn't that serious bruh, 1200 and below is when you wanna reevaluate some things but again it depends on where the person wants to go and that school's requirements, if the requirement is 1400 and below the kid's golden, if not what does he need to do? not get smarter homie, Study and regurgitate :sas1:

The fact that you think below average at anything that so directly relates to earning potential is acceptable is frankly pathetic.

Average people cant comprehend how much smarter than them the top 5-10% are. And I dont mean in terms of SATs.

And without an internship, which a high sat score can get you, you wont be graduating to a very good job anyway. Whats your major? sports marketing?

:childplease:

Kid: "Dad! I got a 95 on my test!"
Your bum ass: "Where are the other 5 points? :birdman:"

I thought we were done with this argument, we got two separate opinions bruh but in the end it boils down to where he wants to go :stopitslime:

Scoring high on SAT's doesn't make you smart though like I said it's just regurgitation, if you were smart you would know that :sas2:

What major are you in and what caliber internship do you have this summer?

My opinion is right and yours is wrong. You dont understand that SATs are important, do you not realize how out of touch with the real world that makes you?

"My opinion is right and yours is wrong" :skip::skip::skip::skip::skip:

I'm out of touch sure man, from what you've been saying and the foolishness you just stated about opinions I'm starting to think you'r e in the lowest common denominator and you sound 12 with the "I'm right your wrong" spin

also do some google searches on your "opinion" about SAT's

"When these tests were originally developed," said Harvard social policy professor Christopher Jencks, "people really believed that if they did the job right they would be able to measure this sort of underlying, biological potential. And they often called it aptitude, sometimes they called it genes, sometimes intelligence."

He pointed out, for example, that students who read a lot, both in and out of school, are more likely to do well on the SAT and in college. The College Board says that the best way to prepare for the SAT is to read a lot and to take rigorous academic courses.

The SAT has been found to correlate with first-year college grades. But psychologist Claude Steele pointed out that the test has been found to measure only about 18 percent of the things that it takes to do well in school, and thus is not a very good predictor of how a student will do in college. "The SAT is not going to get you very far with predicting who's going to do well in college," he told FRONTLINE."

"A low SAT score says nothing about how smart or not smart you are"
"you should try to do the best you can"

How can this opinion not be right?

SATs are pointless, but they helped me get where I wanted so I can't complain.
buy the big blue official sat guide book. Have the kid do all ten tests/go through the whole book over a summer. This can pull the total score up 300 points.

Before you study for it the SAT is extremely culturally biased outside of the math section, idgaf what anyone says.

I remember one practice test having coxy(from rowing) as the answer. Black kids are supposed to know what that is:troll:
That blue book:wow:
I remember studying that book for an entire month. I tore out all the practice tests and wore out the binding on that bytch
Then them scores came back like:blessed:

Congratulations man. I didnt work as hard as I could have in high school so my SAT was my way of proving myself to these unis. No matter what they affect your life, why not do well? I remember waking up at 5am to check my scores and going crazy.

Ive seen a girl with a 4.0 from a top ten public high school nationally get rejected by every school she applied to because of her 1600/2400.

Now the whole thing is starting over as I prepare for taking the LSAT and GRE in 2016
