You really expect Bible Belt nikkaz to be cool with a Satanist statue ? I gotta admit though, these Satanists on their job, they jumped at the opportunity to get a statue put up. That's not the point of free speech and freedom of religion.

The First Amendment protects free speech, and also prohibits the state from favoring one religion over any other.

Right there. Also, when Oklahoma decided to become a State, it had to accept the Federal laws of the United States, including the Constitution.

2) The group wants the statue on Federal land

3) The group has no mandate from the OKC constituents or the public at large.

If there is a Christian statue is built there due to a democratic process, and then a Vishnu statue is petitioned to be there due to a similar democratic process, then I'm all for it. I'm not with the trolls

I didn't read the article but in the nyt apparently at one time there was a statue of Muhammad on a court house in Manhattan. check it out.


I don't want to imagine what that says about our legal system.

I respect these Satanists, they have been putting in work to protect our constitution and showing the oppression by Christians in this country.

Some of these same Conservative Christians crying out about Free Speech in France are the ones trying to censor the Satanists. Keep that in mind.
