We've forgotten our destiny. Become afraid of it and so we turn to other paths for glimpses of more within. Religion isn't about supplication. That's a stage u have to go thru in order to understand mastery over yourself to humble ur ego b/c it traps you. True spirituality is about the transformative power of divinity. I'm a perrenialist. I started my path through Christianity but it has taken me to many others and my background in mystic traditions is pushing me higher. The ultimate endgame isn't to gain power or wealth or control. But realization of a self that is right below our consciousness. Not to be blasphemous but the kingdom of God is within us all. God's will is for us to recognize that. To attain perfection. There are things I see that I can't put into words and as much as I love language it frustrates me and frightens me too.

But I digress. I do still worship God (whatever u need to call him/her/it Atman/Jesus/kami/Buddha/eternal Tao/Allah) outwardly but someday when I'm able to tear down the veil (duality) it'll be more than just worship but unity and transfiguration as well.
