Divorce? She stole your money. Paid off her debt and probably got much more money from you during the 3 years you already was married.

Yea you should divorce her but she already got what she wanted from you. It's fukked up but that girl was never in it for the love in the first place. Hard pill to swallow.

This is exactly why im not married now. I have a steady girl but im always reading shyt like this that makes me avoid pulling the trigger. I also don't share shyt. My girl can ask me for whatever she wants and most of the time i give it to her. But she does not and will never have any of my personal info.

Gotta realize marriage today is not the same marriage it was 50 years ago. Got to be careful out here brehs. I honestly dont see ANYTHING making my situation better by being married yet i can see TONS of things making my situation worse if i do marry.

That's a "cut her ass off" level violation. You sit her down, explain that you are now in charge of finances, you take her check and deal with HER money as well as yours, and she's on an allowance. Non-negotiable. If you're ready to divorce her over it, then that's an ultimatum level offense.

This is the first post in this thread made by an adult.

Anyone who knows how to manage money knows that you lose money when cash is sitting in a savings account when you also have high interest debt like student loans. Her students loans belong to both of them. This 100% should’ve been discussed with her husband before paying the student loans, but this was perhaps the most fiscally responsible thing she could’ve done.

Also, I’m havig a hard time believing that the wife only contributed 5k. If she was paying bills (rent utilities etc) and therefore freeing up money for him to put into the savings account then that counts. I have a similar arrangement with my hubby. He saves his check and I use mine to pay all the bills.

Again, she should’ve spoken to hubby about the money before taking action to pay down the debts, but this isn’t something you divorce for. If he believes she’s cheating or spending money recklessly then that’s a different issue.

:laff: I need to neg this.

Marriage

*man gets kicked in the balls*

Crowd: "BE A MAN. GET OVER IT. MOVE ON. LOVE THAT WOMAN"

:mjlol:

That money took years to save and you have no right to just make up an amount that she contributed.

SHE is the one that racked up $50K. She doesn't get to be married, then, decide the oen without the debt should pay it all in the manner that she wants.

There was a million ways to handled this. But, here we have two "adults" thinking it's cool to move a large sum of money behind his back.

fukk this!
