The signs should’ve been there from the start.. this can’t be the first incident.
I had a joint account with my lady. She messed her phone up and was suppose to go get it repair. She ended up scrapping that idea altogether and just instead brought a new iPhone for full retail and still had to continue paying off the old phone

I ain’t even argue. I just closed out the account and we got separate accounts. It was a lesson learned. I’m happy it happened early on in the relationship before I started making real money.

I think this is a good model when employment is steady, but if you work intermittently or seasonally, you should save as much as you can to account for down time.
