I understand those who can't afford to save much, but I laugh at people living pay check to pay check to impress other people.:mjlol:

Seeing those digits increase has to have some type of mind effect on the human brain. Seeing those digits go up is more satisfying than than buying expensive clothes, jewelry, and shoes combined. You not gonna wanna buy meaningless shyt:dahell: Anything you spend you'll want to replace double the amount. When I have to go in my savings for an emergency:mjcry:

If y'all not saving you doing it wrong:ufdup:. Start now and I guarantee you'll feel the effects seeing yo bank account swell:wow:

This. You find yourself saying, "I'll save $300 this month." Then you find yourself wanting to save $350 instead. You adapt your brain to move more with less. More strategic.

I get a kick outta walking in a store and the employees are on some:martin:; knowing that I am fiscally strong makes me:manny: and:skip:.

Lemme clarify- I'm not rich by any stretch...

This thread is truth. Checking that account and seeing those numbers jump?:banderas: Make a nikka be like “more!!”. Material shyt is material shyt. Time and freedom is what it’s all about. That fukk you money. Type of bread where your boss talk slick and you be like “you know what fukk this shyt and fukk you. I’m out”. Hop on a plane and dip to Aruba for a month after just because.

6 figures would take a long ass time if you only, I imagine you really get there when you learn to invest.

Nah, I did that for the first 3 years after graduating from school back in 09, when the economy was in the tank. Had 3 jobs making 65k per year, and lived with my parents and almost never going out. I stacked like mad and had almost 300k before moving out of my crib in 2014. :whew:
