7. Pretty decent. I put away 10% into my savings and use the Acorns app to invest my spare change. I may start putting another 10% towards the app because it has a better rate of return.

Shoulda saw my account last year. Regularly 3+ Gs, and at its peak I took a bus to go get a digital camera ($800 of gear) and I was a nervous wreck...almost went back home when I got halfway to the store. I really dont like big purchases, so anything I buy is something i thought about for months or years already.

yeah, a lot of people who do this usually hoard money and go out of their way to be cheap as if the actual money itself means anything, my bad.
Well my rule of thumb is always have at least 6 months of living expenses in your savings for a rainy day.
