Part of the rebel without a cause mindset that was prevalent in that era. Fit right in with hip hop in 90s and that counter culture.. Just a total fukk you to everything as the b*stards of the party basically. Its one of the fundamental pillars when you really think about itI don't know why the shyt was appealing lol...one of the dumbest fashion trends. I heard it started from jail shyt...but I think it caught fire because it was indicative of the culture/energy of the 90's.

-This is bullshyt, wasn't no unwritten rule. Dudes was running around sagging with no shirt on & tank top tucked in or no shirt or tank top at all.Prison was part of it but it also had a lot to do with the anti establishment nature of hip hop. But it’s not like folks was letting they drawers who. There was an unwritten rule in the 90s that your shirt needed to be large enough that it hung past your back pockets
It also was meant as easy access
I’m talking about shirts breh not no tank tops. You know damn well we wore big ass shirts back then-This is bullshyt, wasn't no unwritten rule. Dudes was running around sagging with no shirt on & tank top tucked in or no shirt or tank top at all.
I mean think about it
What kinda man/men like seeing other brehs draws and booty to the point of imitating it?
What kinda life was dude living when he decided sagging brought him the social recognition he wanted?
I’m just saying man, brehs a lot of irrelevant shyt gay but a man walkin around with his ass out was cool enough to become a fashion staple![]()
Nah those were full blown dressesI’m talking about shirts breh not no tank tops. You know damn well we wore big ass shirts back then
Nah that was the 2000s when they baggy shyt got out of control. I thinking more this eraNah those were full blow dresses

-Wearing big ass shirts wasn't part of any unwritten rule that had to do with sagging, some people did both & some didn't. Most my people never wore big ass shirts & a lot sagged, I didn't do either.I’m talking about shirts breh not no tank tops. You know damn well we wore big ass shirts back then
