it was weak tho, and most of his o.g. fanbase had already moved on. when that happens, youre on borrowed time. ive seen artists sell twice or three times as much as paper trail, and get hit hard within the next year or two.

I knew the next album was gonna be a bust if he didn't have any candy-land singles to carry the sales.

he was really done in 2007 bro. he was a heavily-pushed artist, so the masses didn't catch on until 1 or 2 albums later.

theres barely anybody in this thread as is. so of course theres not gonna be a thread on the actual songs.

the underlying theme here is that he should just go indie, but I guess he knows he cant survive as an independent legacy act.
