exactly. cut the 10 hours of sportscenter a day and do a damn mini 30 for 30 every fukking week. And if its not a live MAJOR sporting event or original programming, get rid of it.
Dont wanna see SAS yelling all morning and don't wanna see those PTI fukkers debating bullshyt at 5:30. Fans are more connected to athletes thru social media and the on air personalties are annoying as fukk.
When Lavar Ball is a higher draw than your whole on air roster, the ship is going down fast. ESPN News is pointless and so is ESPN2 if theres no live game on. If they are gonna bother to hire athletes to be on air, at least get ones who can convince current players to do some exclusive interviews or something.
Having Lil Wayne and Rae Sremmurd on air is corny as fukk and pandering. Get these lame music artists off the damn network if they arent singing and rapping.

Will probably hit the generic Sportscenters the most. That morning SC before FT usually has about 4 or 5 anchors standing there when they send it over to SAS
If they cut half the NFL roster, they could hit that 40 number pretty easily. Guys like Bettis, Brunell, Saturday probably gone.
I could see Rusillo and Kanell getting cut since SAS took their first 2 hours of radio. They only do one real hour of radio out of the 3 that air on ESPN 2 pretty much...
They could also hit that number by cutting all their local team reporters like the guy who covers OKC and/or the Cavs...

i have no idea how espnu and even espn2 even are still things anymore. if you want to have espn, and then an espn-1 or espn+ or something when theres more than 1 desirable game to air then so be it. you dont need 3 24/7 all day networks with their own standalone daytime and nighttime programming. but ive been preaching this shyt for YEARS. put the actual games on espn3, or if you want then bundled with cable do like comcast does and have an extra channel that just shows games when theres a game on the other network at the same time. comcast had their own warriors feed on the main bay area sports feed, and giants/dodgers on bay area plus. also lol @ the irony of this week old news being posted from a yahoo article about a company struggling to stay afloat in 2017

I can see most of the cuts coming from Sportscenter & people who cover the NFL. The rest will probably radio personalities across the country.
With Sportscenter, they'll probably go back to re-running the same episode until 12pm and do that one live since they do the coast to coast now. With the NFL shows, I never understood they need NFL Live & NFL Insiders
