Have standards and have brehs call you a co*n

WTF is this bullshyt? :laff:

These dudes are shameless, don't care about black people and get exposed all the time--and their defense is "it's corny exposing us" "you sound like a white man"

JT is a certified accountant and calls this shyt out regularly

:snoop:

Even tho i dont subscribe to EYL i dont like it being labeled as a scam fest when all cultures are doing this “pay me to show u how” shyt for everything. I know people that know them from Greenburg and they are regular square dudes who had to put the urban marketing around their platform to get popular.

The flexers and scammers will go of course but that happens in business all the time so i dont agree with trying to crush a platform that are at least pointing people in the right direction or sparking black ownership. We know white folks dont want us buying up property and passing down generational wealth already so i hope these dudes dont get caught up and dissuade people from learning this shyt on their own

This is wild cognitive dissonance breh.

Them EYL cats really tried to run down on JT on camera cause he told the truth about numerous people that have leveraged their platform to gain a larger audience to scam.... but it's all good cause black folks deserve the right to get scammed by other blacks just like white folks scam their own.

Bro, this event had 20k people attendees. You think they're all just dreamers with nothing going on?
Yes…..

Even my breh @Rickdogg44 knew not to touch that shyt….

you think @CountryBalla would ever go to scam fest.

They pray on the people who don’t know and are trying get rich quick.

Just yesterday my barber was trying tell me how’s signed up for a 3day trading course….

I just shook my head in disbelief. I tried her it was a scam but she wasn’t biting. I know that look and attitude of even though you’re trying look out for me. I’m going do it anyways.

No responsible person who know something about trading, advises someone with no background to start trading.

Above the fray.
I don't think the size mattes. The problem is that whether you have a small event at the local Days In conference room or a large event, the only people who benefit from these events are the hosts who are getting paid. I don't need to spend thousands of dollars to be told to trust my gut, or build relationships with vendors, or to raise my prices alongside the market, or deliver on time and under budget, or any of the other generic stuff you'd hear from that stage. White people have been doing this forever. Tony Robbins was making a killing off this shyt decades ago.

So much of this boils down to worshipping wealth. I'm not an anti-capitalist, I'm not a socialist, I'm not a communist. But I can't help but cringe at what the "black excellence" crowd has become as it puts wealthy black people who have no real impact on the community on a pedestal to be praised and admired. Or worse yet the idea that we need to see success in order to be "motivated" to get out of the ghetto. The church may not be as popular as it once was, but prosperity gospel is alive and well.

Will double down on my earlier point, and a comment I've made here multiple times.

People are who they are, and individuals have different views, standards, and ways. Adults read the promotional materials for this event, and determined that it was worth the time and money to attend.

There's a segment of my family that used to attend the "Secrets of Investing in Real Estate" seminars that they used to promote on infomercials decades ago. Like you mentioned, this isn't a new concept...,just been adapted by the YTer set.

There's a current ongoing thread about the For-Profit colleges. It's worth checking out, and covers some of the themes and points of this thread.
