i bet it's her way to downplay it not doing endgame #'s :heh:
According to the complaint, Ms. Johansson’s representatives sought to renegotiate her contract after learning of the dual-release strategy for “Black Widow,” which she has said is her ninth and last Marvel movie.

Disney and Marvel were unresponsive, the suit said. The decision to put the movie on Disney+ is projected to cost Ms. Johansson more than $50 million, a person familiar with details of her contract claimed.

Sounds like her issue is contract terms, they originally agreed on her percentage coming from a theatrical-only release. They went the dual theatrical/streaming route but never renegotiated with her, basically finessed her out of millions :mjlol:

Well, hopefully the lawyers sort it out and she can still come back for multiverse stories :yeshrug:

It was never going to do Endgame numbers, much less during a pandemic, that's not even close to a realistic expectation. I don't know why she'd be upset about that.

:manny: as being hyperbolic

i'm sure she didn't expect endgame #'s...at least I'd hope she wasn't

Cap Marvel #'s seem unrealistic too

she lost millions here probably but also there was a global pandemic that kind of changed everything and people around the globe are hurting here so its hard to feel for her on that level

at the same time, she definitely got screwed over and Disney should have restructured that compensation package to better reflect the new release strategy
