yeah money talks -paul allen is 5times worth kraft (so thats a moot point)

im just saying some of yall pats fans act or believe ur owner is on the level as the mara's & rooney's

I'm not talking about personal wealth; I'm talking about wealth generated by each owner's organization.

Kraft/the Patriots have generated a substantial amount of wealth for the league in the past 15 years, thus, Kraft's influence amongst the owners is significant. Kraft is the owner of the most recent dynasty in the NFL and his team is ALWAYS in the running for the Super Bowl. The Patriots basically became "America's team" for the past 15 years and has generated substantial revenue and wealth for the league. The NFL, just like any other league, is a "what have you done for me lately?" environment and that extends to owners. Kraft has been doing the most as far as recent history is concerned.

Kraft is on the same level (if not higher because of his recent success) as Mara and Rooney.

Schefters source was someone inside the pats organization:heh::heh:

"Schefter what's the latest on Aaron hernandez?"

"Well according to a few of Hernandez's nikkas from back in the day, they believe 'he didn't do shyt', so the belief around here is that he's innocent and will walk."

:camby:with these chris broussard quality sources.

Hasn't been proven. The best we know is that it's "more probable than not" that he cheated...and we don't even know that for sure. Hence, Brady's imminent lawsuit.:beli:

When it comes to suspected violations of NFL rules (rule-breaking) "probable" was the standard agreed upon during the collective bargaining agreement. Which is a lower standard than a criminal or even civil court proceeding.

That was the standard agreed upon for the league to discipline the Patriots/Brady.

Whether Brady actually had the game balls doctored is another question altogether.

How do people fail to comprehend this? :mindblown:

Legally, yes, a jury of his peers found him not guilty.

Common sense-wise, :russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ:
Acquitted not found not guilty. A difference of saying no a person didn't do it versus saying there isn't enough evidence beyond a reasonable doubt to say a person did it.

Yes it does. Don't act like these owners aren't business men. Doing anything excessive to the Patriots/Kraft would be bad news for the league and would ultimately hurt their pockets.

As far as this "4 tainted rings" rhetoric, the only people who subscribe to that nonsense are butt-hurt fans who can only dream of a sliver of success that the Patriots enjoy. Rings are rings are rings. Anybody who follows the NFL knows that the Patriots are the best NFL team, cheating allegations aside. I bet your team's (or any team's) fanbase would take "4 tainted rings" in the past 14 years over where it's at now.

So u take pride in tainted rings? won by SpyGate, Deflate Gate and beatinga depleted secondary on the worst play call in history? lol, nobody even remembers Pats winning, it will always be about that goal line playcall

Rings are rings.

Spygate is overblown and misunderstood. The Patriots didn't cheat; they just refused to listen to Commissioner Goodell's memo.

You can only beat the team that's in front of you. It's not the Patriots' fault that the Seahawks were injured (although their defense was still pretty good) and that Carroll's a dumbass.

Maybe if your dumbass had read the article you would have seen that Schefter said it on The Herd with Colin Cowherd

lol this guy

In any event there's more evidence against Brady/PAtirots then there is vindicating that he was not involved in deflating footballs.

I would invest very little interest in the story

u are being a typical homer
no disrespect -but the pats dont have the fan base of the top 10 teams of this league
even with all their success over the past decade & a half in apparel they rank 5th

mara & rooney are the main reason the NFL is the most successful league in the world (putting kraft name among dem 2 - S8 disrespectful)
