School district in Las Vegas lowering grading standards

Schools actually think they're helping kids by pushing them through high school just so they can get their diploma, but it's actually counterproductive. They're literally helping to make people a liability out here that can easily be hustled and exploited because the lack of education.

This and the "everyone is a winner" mentality has a crippling affect as well.. Teens get out here and not getting hired right away, or not making advances in life fast enough, can hurt their self esteem... Have to let them know early its going to be hard, and you're not going to win all the time.. A generation is hurting because of this..
As a parent you better take this shyt into your own hands because the school system isn't..

Mine too, but my school didn't have D's. Just A's B's C's and F's. If your school had D's then 60 to 69 was likely a D grade.
