I can't believe these people are stupid enough to be totally unable to conceive what the most obvious and logical response to this would be but it could be purposeful to obfuscate. As we know, the only people whoever inhabit a school or a home is the children themselves. Absolutely no one else is around at any time.

I was reading something earlier that said, that COVID-19 outbreak at a GA summer camp, is basically what will happen if schools reopen. :wow:

It's inevitable.

Teachers got it bad. Imagine before going back to your career, you have to prepare a will and sign death waivers.

:picard:

Teachers in hard hit areas need to strike if safety precautions aren't made.

Education in this country is going to be changed forever. People need to start figuring out how to provide instruction in a variety of ways moving forward. There is no going back... only a new normal for the future.

They're willing to sacrifice children and older people on the alter of the economy, to save Donald Trump. Most kids will be fine. I don't have kids, but I've heard coworkers talk about their school children enough to know that a loooot of kids have asthma, allergies, conditions that prevent them from doing gym/sports, and all types of other shyt that could make this situation very dicey.

Schools should re-open...but they should do so in a way that works for them. That may mean online classes in places like, you know, Florida. It may mean in-person learning in places like Wyoming where the virus cases are low. Having the government telling everyone to just go back to school in-person is laughable, especially coming from a "conservative" administration.

1st Round Playoff Exits
We closed schools for a reason originally.

We haven’t created a vaccine.

The infection rate is currently increasing across the country.

Why are we opening schools?
The video I posted broke down a bit of the rationale of the other side, if schools don’t open, then about 50 billion a month will be lost. School is big business in America I suppose. I get it in a way because it employs a lot of people and industries, directly and indirectly. On the other hand, If I had a child, I wouldn’t send them to school.
