Just purchased this. Typically I download a leak before purchasing, but Q has a good track record, so why bother with a leak. About a 1/3 way through this album.........dope. Very good, scary good even considering his subject matter. Streets, fukkery, b!tches, whips, weed, clothes, etc., what can be said that hasnt already been said? Nothing new under the sun, but what makes an artist stand out is how he presents this cliched yet classic story of life, and so far this is my personal album of the year. Loving this so far.

Gave Oxymoron a listen...Good project. A little less consistent sound throughout, and I don't like it as much as this, but it's a solid 3 mic album IMO.

I know some people didn't like the more crossover/mainstream joints like Hell of a Night, Studio, and Man of the Year, but damn I think they're pretty dope too. Even Collard Greens isn't that bad, considering it's basically a chick joint. I like Gangsta, Blind Threats, and fukk LA. Prescription/Oxymoron is really dope too, and hits hard for someone that's had pill problems before.

I appreciate Break The Bank way more too. That's probably Alchemist's best "mainstream appeal but still hard" joint since We Gonna Make It by Jadakiss. Speaking of Alchemist, I like his original version of Hoover Street better than the remix that ended up on Oxymoron, but the album version flows really well with the tracklist order.

Solid album. I still like Blank Face better though. I'm about to give Habits & Contradictions a solid listen today.

Blank Face is probably my album of the year so far. I can listen to it without skipping anything basically. I did replace the Kanye version of THat Part with the Black Hippy version though.

And where the fukk is Tookie Knows part 1?

tookie knows pt 1 is just an interlude on habits and contradictions. Make sure you listen to the complete version of habits and contradictions cause the commercial release is missing 3 tracks.
