While the production, rapping, and songwriting still amazing :whew:

I agree that the sequencing of the tracks feels off now. I can't be the only one that feels like black tHougHts should've been last track

Q's best album. And I'm a day one fan, who loves all of bro's projects!

The sequencing on Blank Face was perfect because he said he saw it as a concept album and "a film". It's telling a story and he's playing characters. The album ends with "Tookie Knows II" because he said the "movie ends with us being locked up". He said the short film version shows how all the sh*t they did during the album always has the same result. So at the end of the album, that's why we see him, Traffic and TF locked.

"Black THoughts" is what happened during his trial before he got convicted, and sent up for the sh*t we saw him locked up for in "Tookie Knows II". At the end of "Black THoughts", he said that's why you see him saying goodbye to his daughter. He was reflecting on his actions and had to go sit for mad years. That's what we saw in "Tookie Knows II". That was the result of all the sh*t that played out during the album. Q said "you have to connect all the pieces, but it time jumps back and forth". He spoke on this after he did the short film for the album, back then.

Sh*t's a classic.
