I heard Good Kid M.A.A.D City and on ONE listen I knew it was a classic......I'm not that guy who calls everything classic or garbage but I knew instantly it was the best releases I've heard in YEARS.

That said, I really need some time to digest this Oxymoron album before I can even judge this album and give a proper opinion.

On first listen in the gym I can't remember a single bar from School Boy Q that made me :ohhh::huhldup: :gladbron: :ooh: or :krs:. In fact I can't remember a single bar.

That was to be expected tho. Not every MC has to be a lyricist. I expected him to win me over on voice, charisma, and production. That said, I am more partial to Mcs who can give me bars and speak to my soul and School Boy Q definitely isn't that guy, but there's a place for him.

From what I hear, there's some really solid production.....and I can say that from most rappers in this Era.

The transition from Blind Threats to Hell of a Night threw me the fukk off.....

But this is just my first listen....

im considering rearranging the track listing as well to fit studio in better. for one...i put the pusha man in between What they Want and Hoover St...its much better suited as an interlude between the two songs. Might bump Grooveline up to after Collard Greens and then put studio before Grooveline as well. Then leave fukk LA at the end. That'd leave three bonuses in Californication, Gravy and Yayay

and los awesome is piff :ohlawd: i had a feeling itd grow on me

and to those dissing His and Her Friend...yall do realize its an interlude right? just an extension of the Los Awesome interlude

After I'm done i'm gonna post my tracklist and the logic. Yall gone dig it
