3rd vs 1st person is a very deliberate design choice.I knew that 1st person cam for better immersion was cap. Dem dudes were cutting corners like a mfer. Talking about the main story is not as long the witcher 3 because most people didn't finish witcher 3.

It was originally planned to be 3rd and 1st person like bethesda games.
Ubisoft games are also packed with "content".
Bethesda games are 1st person first with a janky 3rd person option.
This game was built from the ground up for 1st person.
1st person and 3rd person games are built very differently. It’s why most games don’t have the option to switch.

at some point it was decided this game would be first person only. it must have been early on, since being first person only was one of the first public details we got about this game. they also said their experience was with third person games, so they had to do things differently for this game
what I really don't understand is how yall think them saying first person was for immersion was a "lie"

The last patch helped with the crashing on PS5 (though they still occur), and I've been having a blast ever since. Crafted a Epic version of the Witcher sword, so now I'm out here getting my Duncan MaCleod on.

It is apparently what the devs told Schreier, it was originally intended to be third person but they didn’t have the capability of pulling it off hence they resorted to first person as a way to simplify things. If you hold an iota of common sense then this was already obvious but now they have come out and said it as opposed to what they was originally spouting about immersion.

I actually like the game and think conceptually it’s doper than anything currently out but to say this game wasn’t released in and isn’t currently in a trash state is straight up cap. This game is damn near unacceptable in the state it’s in. I’ve never seen ANY game released with these kinds of issues. NEVER.

Yeah, I beat it two weeks ago and man the glitches and crashes on PS4 were fukking horrible breh. My first save couldn't be completed because of the tapeworm glitch I had a whole level 37 character I had to drop and make a new V all because of the a fukking glitch. The content of the game is very good and I enjoyed it when I played but man I'm severely dissapointed. Hopefully, they fix this shyt I probably won't play this game seriously until I get a PS5.
