I don't go to a barber except maybe 3 times a year. I mostly do everything myself. What y'all think brehs...:

How long you been growing it? i just started to grow mine ..about to have 3 weeks. might post pictures later.
do you trim it? or just let it keep growing?

If I recall, it took maybe about 3 months. I'm not trying to grow it any longer. I like it at this length so I trim it every week (I use an Andis T-Outliner). Every now and then I'll go to a barber and get a real good shape up...but that's only about 2 or 3 times a year.

I've had it for about 2 years now...I had a goatee before.

Yep. Got to moisturize the beard and the skin under it.

I brush mine daily with a hairbrush.

This applies to cacs. Most black brehs can't grow beards based on our genetics. Same thing with the long hair don't care thing that's something woman adopted due to being under their rule and us as black men associate long hair with some beauty ideal. Chest hair is another thing cacs associate with manhood but most black brehs don't have chest hair or even forearm hair for that matter.

I almost use the whole line: Beard wash, conditioner, balm, oil and their comb (large size).

I use the wash just one a week and the conditioner about 2 times a week. And the balm and oil just about every day.
