This is what happens when an actor and studio effectively erases the original character he was portraying. In other words Hugh Jackman erased the very essence of Wolverine after taking that role. The comics and cartoon version of Logan prior to Jackman might as well have not even existed. Now folks want a young Hugh Jackman instead of a Wolverine.
