I liked Game Theory, a lot.

But it wasn't on the level of what they did on Illadelph, DYWM? or Things Fall Apart. And the difference, Malik B was back!

When he was around, they were better.

Yeah the fire was gone once Malik B left

There was a balance when Malik B was in the group and when him and Thought and were spitting verses back and forth

Do You Want More?! is still my favorite Roots album

be honest thats not true tho. a lot of their best music was with him

He contributed like 3-4 songs to Do You Want More. He did contributed one song to Illadelph Halflife. I don't have the liner notes in front of me, but if Wiki holds up, his biggest contributions were to When Things Fall Apart and Tipping Point (his influence is all over this one).

Scott Storch as a producer is somewhat overrated. He forever gets respect for breaking Chris Brown as an artist, what he did for Beyonce's debut, co-production with Dre and Timbaland, his work with Mario and Christina Aguilera.

Why is he overrated? People often overstate his contributions. There are people who credit him with songs he didn't contribute to on Dre's 2001. People who think he was the genius behind Dre. There's the fact, that his solo credits on 50's The Massacre say otherwise as he had the weakest songs. The sound that became synonymous with Scott Storch was basically Storch biting the Timbaland produced "Call Me" by Tweet, Missy's "Get Ur Freak On" and Aaliyah's "We Need A Resolution".

My boy used to work at like a big venue that put on shows and would be sent to pick up artists. Out west. So 2 philly boys, youd think itd go well.

He picks up black thought. Said he was a total bytch

DIVA, complaining, crying bout food he wanted picked up custom an hr away not being fresh not wanting to know or see other rappers, not having the proper charger for him, etc.

We grew up with STS before he used to rap with roots so my boy calls him to let him know yo BT in car, BT blew him off

Then he cried about his feet being cold

So now when we talk about BT

His names

“Cold feet” tariq

He then said raekwon and immortal technique were cool n legit. BT didnt even wan see them. Stayed in private room.

TOTAL piece of shyt. fukk that guy.

Whenever someone says hes a goat i remember that story.

So ye i see it

They prolly punked scott cuz its only one they could punk.

This right here.

When they had Malik B, the balance was perfect. First time I heard them, was the video for "Distortion To Static", as a kid. I remember going to Tower Records, to find the cassette for the single, the very next day. LOL!!

Thought and Malik B had really dope chemistry. And DYWM? was the first album I copped from them, so I always favored that one. But some days, I feel like Illadelph Halflife might be my favorite too. I've always been back and forth with that.

I'd been hearing that Storch had supposedly been in The Roots, since back when he first started getting his name buzzing with Dr Dre and them. But, thinking about it now, I had never ever noticed The Roots had a white member in their old videos at all, ever. Was he in any of their music videos ever???

I just re-watched as many of the early Roots videos as I could think of and he's not in any of em as far as I could see. He's not in 'What They Do' or 'Proceed' or 'Distortion To Static' or 'You Got Me' or 'Next Movement' or 'Clones' or 'Concierto of the Desperado' - not in any them videos. There is a light skin black dude in almost all them videos playing the keys or in the background. just looked him up and his name is Kamal, apparently he joined the Roots in 94 to replace Scott Storch.

so, if that dude replaced Scott Storch before they even put out 'Do You Want More?!??' in 95, then what are we even talking about???

Storch did still occassionally contribute to different Roots tracks after that sometimes (to 4 on DYWM, only 1 on Illadelph Halflife, 3 on Things Fall Apart, 1 on Phrenology, 2 on Tipping Point), but he'd long been left the group by 94, way before annyyyyone even knew who the Roots were. Nobody had heard Organix from 93 until years later, and even on that one, the only one were he supposedly was actually in the group, he was apparently only on 6 of the 17 songs there anyways either.

So, what the fukk is this narrative actually about? Why is he talking down on them, years after he chose to leave - years before he or they were ever even known at all? They still fukked with him and gave him his first Grammy. He a weirdo & a bytch.

Scotty has taken his disgruntled media tour from Vlad to Rogan and now PBD. Are we seeing a pattern here?
Yup, he's a caucasian red pill loser who agrees with far right wing bullshyt. All it's missing is him doing interview with tucker carlson.
