Yeah, and its not like Pippen is slept on in any sense of the phrase. Everyone respects Pippen as a player and as one of the best defenders of all time.

No one ever forgets him or dismisses what he's done on the court. Pippen contorting things into some sort of victimhood then acting like MJ is the cause of it? It sounds goofy because it is.

this is fake news , the bulls went 4-6 without pippen that season & 3 of those losses were by a combined 4 points(two by 1 point,one by 2 points) they were beating/ going to the wire with playoff teams without pippen

that team was good period they had 2 all stars ,championship experience & depth without Jordan & pippen

Team added toni, steve and longlry and they played a big role for the squad. Credit thst to Phil Jackson, but scottie wad still the heart soul and engine of the team

I don't know. Scottie was a really good player.
On some level, he was underappreciated. I don't think any reasonable person can deny that Michael Jordan cast a large shadow over everyone on those Bulls teams.

But Scottie accomplished a lot and he's a 6-time champion. You'd think he would be at peace with it all after 25 years.

Like someone upthread said, he likely was at peace until The Last Dance.
