They don't realize that Pip was in charge of guarding the other team's best scorer a majority of the times. People forget that the Bulls only lost 6 more games the year after Jordan retired. And was one bad foul call away from going to the ECF. Pippen led the Bulls in all major categories. Should've been the MVP that year. Cats that are in their early to mid 20's need to do more research before they start spouting new age, social media rhetoric.

Please stop the revisionist history of this shyt.

Series was tied 2-2, yeah the Bulls lost game 5 on that shyt, but the Knicks still had to win another game. Bulls won game 6 and lost in 7.

It wasn't 3-3 when that game happened.

Pipped and Lebron play nothing alike.

Grant and Bron are better at creating their own shot that Pip

Im not wasting any energy on these trashy opinions in here

BE SMART SON.

nobody said pippen was as good of a scorer as them.

youre completely missing the point. i cant believe people are in here arguing about this. lol..

The Pippen-LeBron comparison is funny. I always saw LeBron as a throw-back player to the era before Scottie's. I see more Oscar Robertson (especially Oscar) and Elgin Baylor in LeBron than I see Barkley, Pippen, or Grant Hill.

My dude, this whole thread is about looking back because a lot these dudes never watched prime Pippen, and you know that it was a bad call. I understand the point you're making in terms of it not literally ending the series. The actual point is that they made it that far without Jordan.

I said it was a bad call, but it's not like the series was over after that game.

It was the semis as well, not even the ECF.

If it was the ECF, I'd give it more "credit", but the Semi's with Pip and Horace was about right.

It's no different than cats who cyse the Knicks of that era who didn't even win a ring.

It is true what you said but let's not act like hue Hollins call on Pippen as Hubert Davis shot a three to win the game did not kill the bulls in that series.

That was game 5 with Hue Hollins making that horrible call on that Hubert Davis 3. The two playoff seasons before the Knicks had only beaten the bulls once at home in the playoffs and that was game 1 in 1992.

If the bulls pulled out that game five without that hue Hollins call that series could have possibly ended in Chicago in game 6.

LeBron is a mixture of Scottie Pippen,Karl Malone, and Magic. He plays like Pippen, built like Karl , and has court vision & passes first like Magic.

What about the only losing 6 more games than the season before? Remember, the best player on the planet was playing baseball at the time.

Not dismissing that. a top 4 team in the East that lost in the semis is where they were. 3rd best team in the East record wise. They finished where they should have.
