Old players always hate on Steph, it's nothin new :manny:

No. They just know the game of basketball more than you do. You don't see the legends saying this about any other player. Maybe its because Steph is actually not as good as you think he is. How about that? Rather than thinking the legends have something against him.

Steph Curry is just a gimmick player. He can't play defense. And his offense is a gimmick. Plus he's been exposed in consecutive finals.

NBA legends know the game more than you.

Steph curry is a dominant player though

No. He's a gimmick player that has is protected by Klay Thompson on the defensive end and who plays a gimmick style that gets exposed in the NBA finals once real defense starts getting played.

There is a reason Kyrie Irving made him his bytch last year in the finals.

Curry is a FRAUD.

The Warriors don't even bother having Steph guard the other teams high powered PG they put Klay on them :scust:

In the Finals last year they made GSW switch to get Steph on Kyrie so Kyrie could crack him.

If Steph is not making mad 3s how is he dominant?

Step back, take a few minutes, and educate yourself. Chefs the FOCAL point of one of the GOAT teams. If you think it starts and ends with "mad 3s" you're lost.

People criticized him for not playing well in last years finals (rightfully so, no excuses), and he's come back this year and averaged 29/6/5 in 33 minutes after 12 games. Dude's about to light up the finals and cost Brawn another ring.

Curry is changing the game, how defenses operate, and is an ungodly talented scorer.

Saying he's not dominant is stupid. He literally warps defenses in a way that stats can never show.

No more than Kobe was exposed in consecutive playoffs in 2003 and 2004 when the Spurs/Pistons eliminated him.

Steph's shooting, range, and ability to score off the dribble is much better than Kobe...how is that a gimmick? Curry is a GOAT-tier off the dribble shooter unlike anything the league has ever seen.

exactly. I forgot his peers have no respect for him either.

Steph Curry is a media creation. The dude is a gimmick and all his peers know it.

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were more valuable to Golden State's success last year and now with KD he's at best the 4th most valuable player on that team.

Kobe's peers never disrespected his game. If anything they were more complimentary of his impact on the game than the media or stat geeks.

Curry has no respect from his peers or past greats as a dominant player. That alone should expose him as a fraud.

After what Kyrie did to him last year in the finals, I honestly don't know how anyone could think he's a great player. The dude is an overrated Patty Mills. Role player status.

Here come the stat geeks with the revisionist history. There is a reason that yellow nikka didn't get finals MVP. He was pathetic that finals and let some cac named Matthew Dellevodova lock him up.

Andre Igoudala won finals MVP cause he had a bigger impact.

Steph Curry got exposed that year. And then what happened last year should have eliminated him from any list of the top players in the NBA.

Kyrie Irving owned him.

I just saw Austin Rivers say Curry is all but unguardable and the best thing to do is to try to attack him physically.

I saw Kobe get exposed by Steve Nash, drop a 3-1 lead, and watch Steve Nash show everyone why he was the rightful MVP. Kobe wasn't good enough to check Steve Nash and stop him from running the offense while dropping skyhigh efficiency. Did Nash expose Kobe or did the Suns outplay the Lakers?

Curry's range, shooting, handle, and off-the-dribble shooting makes Kobe look like Lebron :mjlol:

It's funny...you can use the same arguments that you use to prop Kobe over Lebron to prop Curry over Kobe.

Curry is a much better shooter, better off the dribble, has more range, better at contested shots, and doesn't care about taking easy shots despite being much less athletically gifted. He does more with less. Can't all those apply to your argument for Kobe being better than Bron?
