The court is partisan, I'm not sure how dems continue pretending that this isn't the case going forward without expansion. I also don't know how we maintain any resemblance of norm with this court.

The question is

How do the Dems win durable Senate majorities? Look at the map. How do they get to 53 or 54 seats by 2029?

It’s actually incredible Biden got 235 judges and the legislation he got through with 50 or 51 seats. And we know how two of them were a pain.

I don't see a path to realistic majority unless trump tanks the rust belt with his policies which is possibility

Not sure why you'd think this. His entire life has been being unable to prevent the bottom from falling out and failing upward. The Mid West and most of the South (except Texas, somehow) are already in early stages if not full blown recession. Tariffs are going to completely gut the ag sector, which has already been suffering and needing subsidies to exist at all for decades.
