Horror pictures are the easiest movie to make story wise and yet 98% fail in this regard

1. Get a likeable lead
2. don’t make every one retarded
3. make good kills
4. don’t go overboard with plot armor
5. don’t make to the shyt too unrealistic

you follow these rules you have at worst a 6/10 movie

personally if they got at least #3 #2, I'm generally good

nothing fukking worse than a horror movie with shytty kills (see The Strangers trilogy from the last 3 years)

Yeah. Have enough idiots that you're happy to see Jason slaughter and the likeable leads to balance it out. Horror movies are not rocket science

Watched a couple reviews and its hilarious that everybody had the same reaction to the second reveal

The kills alone made it worth seeing. Yes the writing had problems but it dope kills covered up those issues to me. Her daughter was absolute annoying though.
