No you dont add 20 for Wilson,it doesn't work like that unless he gets a flat deal

Most nfl contracts are backloaded so the first couple years his cap number will be low

When Flacco signed for 20 mill per season his cap number in year 1 was 7 mill and 14 mill in year 2

Next year will be the first year his number will be 20

Russell will probably get a similar deal so they can keep everybody
depending on if they cut guys like zach miller/mebane which would free up another 9 mil between the 2, and what they decide to give wagner/maxwell they might even have room to front load wilsons contract a bit in 2015

Not really. Sherman, Thomas, Chancellor, Bennett, Avril and Wright have all already been extended. I would think with Wilson & Lynch allegedly getting huge contracts, they'll probably have to part ways with two of Wagner, Maxwell & Irvin though.

I cant envision them letting go of Wagner. Would be a huge mistake. Maxwell is gonna get overpaid by another team..Irvin probably gone and Schofield gets more playing time or a rookie speed rusher. I was hoping theyd be able to land Shazier in last year's draft :to:

They are gonna lose Maxwell IMO

damn near everybody needs corners, somebody is gonna overpay dude

I dont know their cap situation and who's extensions kick in next year and what everyone's cap number is so I can't say if a fronloaded deal is possible or the right way to go but most teams dont give out frontloaded deals anymore because of all the players who made all the money up front and then held out for a new contract in the early 2000s

Yeah I definitely see a desperate team like the Saints overpaying Maxwell. I think Irvin's a good player but I don't think he should be too hard to replace.

That nikka is literally Seattle whole offense. They don't get going until he gets going and if that green bay game wasn't indicative of that I don't know what is :pachaha:

Basically. It was a no brainer deciion to keep him around.
