Breh nobody in here misread that. That BIG interview was everywhere back in the day. We all know exactly what interview that was :dead:

People still caping for Puffy :snoop:
I’m not caping for Puff and I got nothing to do with whoever you going back and forth with breh. The point I was making is bigger than that specific clip and this thread.

I watched the first 2 episodes and man….this might be one of the greatest hip hop related docs of all time :wow:

Even with all the recycled footage and stories for most of it….its well produced and there were some interesting stuff I didn’t know about (Diddy swinging on Erick Sermon, Puff’s mom being in them streets and giving him severe beatings).

I didn’t even know about him threatening Burrows over the 25% Bad Body with a baseball bat. It was probably common knowledge to most but not to me.

It didn’t feel like a hit piece or pro puff…but it definitely makes Puff look real bad because he did a lot of fukked up shyt that’s well documented. The Craig Mack shyt was super foul. He could’ve had a decent career if not for being in that horrible ass contract.:manny:

Also…watching this makes me appreciate 90’s black women so much more. Gotdamn they’re were some natural dimes back then. I almost envy all the old heads that were feasting during that era. I know y’all had it good especially the ones with clout.:wow:

Ummmmm…this Lil Rod dude…this is the first dude out of everybody that’s been interviewed that I feel like is a total fraud. His reaction to seeing a white dude being fukked in his ass is basically “this seems weird, but I’m trying to make it in the industry” :mjlol: :mjlol: He enjoyed all of the drugs and sex and now wants to cash in.

Why was this Indian guy a juror ?

And all these tiktokers talking about Free Diddy but saying Cassie is the ring leader :mjlol: Cassie is a suspect AND a victim, but Diddy is clearly THE guy

I found lil rod to be the most believable person cause I know multiple nikkas who would have reacted the same way he did.

Heard gunshots in the bathroom walked in saw blood everywhere. "Trying to get the bag and get on so I kept it pushing"

Watched Puff security lie about what happened and never said nothing. "Trying to get the bag and get on so I kept it pushing"

Told him to wear a bad boy hat and go pick up some girls. "shyt crazy they got me out here like a pimp but trying to get the bag and get on so I kept it pushing."

Doing all types of drugs and smashing skeezers. "Aint nothing wrong with that other than making music that's what I'm here for" :ahh:

Wake up in a bed dazed, confused, and sore with puff laying next to him. "Damn we must have smashed the shyt out of them hoes and they left :whew:. Right :pachaha:. Right :patrice:. Right :damn:. It was some hoes here then they left I woke up after they left it wasn't just me and diddy I can smell perfume we must have fukked like 10 chicks :to:.

Didn't get paid for producing the album. "Nah I aint get my money I'm snitching on everybody Puff a demon he made women drink drug infused baby oil and every since I woke up next to him it hurt when I take a shyt he made me take that take that take that :sadbron:. fukk that I'm suing."

Lil Rod was fine with EVERYTHING until he didn't get paid then he wasn't fine with any of it :mjlol:. That's real as it gets:mjlol:

Sunk Cost Fallacy

the phenomenon whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more beneficial.

I don't think he was every FINE with what was happening, he just invested so much that he kept going. He clearly knew it something was strange about the situation but instead of honoring that feeling and getting out, he stayed hoping he would get what he wanted out of it.

Also keep in mind when you're dealing with a gatekeeper/powerful figure like Puff, he has the power to kill your career, blackball you and keep you from getting other opportunities. It takes a strong person to say fukk YOU, I'm not down with this shyt and I'm going to be successful regardless.

Dave Chappelle spoke about this on "Inside the Actors" Studio.....He said his father told him. "name your price BEFORE you get there and when the price is too high, leave." Sounds like Rod never had established boundaries and got burned.

Look at all the people in this documentary.....They all looked soft or they were women. Gene Deal wasn't in the doc.....he would have added much needed testosterone and real nikka energy to documentary full of people Puff knew he could punk.

Puff would have never gotten over on an established producer because the established producer would have just told him, have my money up front before I get to the studio and have my publishing right. He hired young nikka like Rod because he knew he could get over on him.
