Granted with hindsight you run the ball there...but Russell is to blame. You cant make that throw.
It was a bad play call all around, I get what they were trying to do, catch the Pats sleeping. Everyone thought they would run the ball, lets catch them sleeping to a wide open slant while they have their goal line package is in. But so many issues
Everyone thought they would run because its the smart play, you have a big bruising back that can get you 2 yards in his sleep, hes not a finese back that gets caught with negative yardage, he runs straight not sideways, its not Warrick Dunn back there
You didn't catch them sleeping, don't throw the ball and live another day
Don't throw the ball in the middle of the field, if anything a fade out to the corner where only your player can make an "amazing" play on it or incomplete, live another day as well
I am happy it went how it did. Seattle had this cocky attitude going in as if they can play any way and still win the game, tha tis true if it was their D on the field making the decision, but Russell Wilson is not jesus, I am sorry I am not jumping on that boat like ESPN is.
