First time was in 2021, Jazz won equivalent of 59 games, 1-seed, and what's worse were up 2-0. So they got backdoor swept, and Kawhi didn't even play the last two games of that series...

Mitchell also had a pretty statline of 35/5/5 in that series, and escaped major criticism because he "gave it his all" and "did his job" and "left it all out there on the court"

I'm just saying a pattern is emerging here. He is not That Guy...

In all seriousness, Donovan is about as good you're going to get from an undersized guard.

He's not in top-10 player conversations and he isn't weaponized in any capacity over players who're better than him, so I don't really know why we need to put him under the microscope. He was about the only player on his squad who bothered to show up too, so that can't be ignored.

It's cause DMitch just ain't a number 1. He can put up those monster 30pt, 40pt playoff games that got nikkas thinkin he DWade but his defense and playmakin not good and he always been a mad streaky scorer. For those scorin explosions he has he also have em 12 points on 4/19 performances when he can't hit a 3. He been a top 3-5 SG for a long ass time but his ideal role on a real contendin title team is a #2 or even 3 option.
