not Mitchell fault. The Cavs are undersized from 1-3 and that shyt gets exploited inthe postseason. New York did it first than Boston, and now Indi.

Nemrard is good but he was great against Cleveland backcourt. Strus is undersized 6’5 paying the 3. Mitchell always been undersized at 6’3. Their twin tower line up good defensively(though it didn’t make a difference against Indi) but are clean up guys on offense.

I don’t think they’re far off but I said back befor the new year that they’re clearly not the class of the east.

They don’t have to dramatic moves but they need to add more size to that starting lineup. Preferably at the 3. They missed Levert more than they realized

This one isnt on Mitchell.

That core is going no where though...Mobley isnt the next KG, Allen is soft and kind of useless and Garland isnt dependable.

I doubt they do it but id sell high on Mobley.... See what they can package for Giannis
I’d keep Mobley over Allen and garland. if anything I’d trade Garland.

GSW needs a big. Maybe a sign and trade of Kuminga and FRP for Allen

They need to sell high on Garland & Allen

I feel like the sample size is large enough now on them being playoff droppers

I don’t have the answers but they’ve already changed coaches, unless they get a really fortunate path or Mobley takes a massive offensive jump I just don’t think this core has what it takes

......authored by yours truly, Donovan "Spida" Mitchell!

First time was in 2021, Jazz won equivalent of 59 games, 1-seed, and what's worse were up 2-0. So they got backdoor swept, and Kawhi didn't even play the last two games of that series...

Mitchell also had a pretty statline of 35/5/5 in that series, and escaped major criticism because he "gave it his all" and "did his job" and "left it all out there on the court" 🤣

I'm just saying a pattern is emerging here. He is not That Guy...
Its not mitchells fault garland is ass. Plus mitchell got hurt in this series as well.

Lets get him Greek and see what he can do

They don’t have enough to get him. No draft capital and Milwaukee isn’t interested in Allen and don’t need Garland since they’d stuck with Lillard.

Mitchell can be a 1a or 1b but he can’t just be the 1. And then like USA d they need to shore up the defensive deficiencies of their undersized backcourt.

As a rockets fan, I’d take Garland for Tari.

I’d prefer Coby White though

Being a 1 seed is an accomplishment. They werent a championship team. That was apparent (for me at least) all season and they had injuries. Never looked at those Jazz teams as chip squads either. Having a great regular season is its own seperate accomplishment. Playoffs now, more than ever, are about health, 3 pt variance, depth, in addition to having that guy or those guys.
