You have to get your CCNA first so i might as well get my ccna and ccnp?

You can get it, but you'll end up being a network engineer and not a security dude.

Learn about networking (servers and routers/switches/LBs/etc), security devices (firewall/vpn), databases, web technology, and security standards and frameworks. Oh, and you better learn some scripting too.

I'd go into more but dammit it's friday and I'm bout to watch some porn then play batman.

SharePoint and ASP.net Developer... Straight outta college(computer engineering) and in less than a year got to the 6 figure range and still have not maxed out where I can go(been on job less than a year). Im actually try to iron out my new contract that starts next month with the contracting company that won the bid for my current job(I am just rolling over into them). I know I am still underpayed so I am trying to get to 120-130k(Up from like 105k). I am not just a fresh kid out of college kid anymore mesmerized by these numbers so im ready to play hardball cause I know my worth. I posted in a thread on that "other site" about this a while back cause I was ready to take private messages on what to do and what to study but nobody messaged me. I just found about this site today. So much better :-) I have a Sharepoint 2010 application developer certification, and in the process for a secret clearance. I know its nothing like a Top Secret/SCI but you gotta start somewhere.

SharePoint developing and ASP.NET is not going anywhere anytime soon. Its Microsoft. And honestly its so much easier to use .NET than that convoluted Java/J2EE mess of random frameworks thrown together.
