Wipe your computer thoroughly before bringing it in to a tech shop, this also applies to Uni tech shops. People will find all of your media files, passwords, keys and copy them over to a USB drive. Don't ever hand your computer over to someone while you are logged into your Google account, email, etc. IT is filled with losers and morons. When I can, I fix issues for free, I could never charge people $40+ for the most simple fixes.

Was with you till the bolded... why the hell would you work for free? :dahell:

It doesn't matter how easy it is for you to do it, it matters how hard it is it for them to do it. :usure:

BANKS ARE CRIMINAL ORGANIZATIONS!!!

I use to work at a call center that collected on home loans, I got the same 2 calls EVERY DAY ALL THE TIME!!

1) "I didn't know that HELOC (home equity lines of credit) was doing that to my account, I just made a payment on it!!" and guess what. THEY DID!! those damn loans were so fukked up and confusing that even our supervisors got confused over them

2) "you guys are the only people I can't make online payments too" yeah because they want those LATE FEES!! i use to want to say "I KNOW! THAT shyt IS CRAZY IT'S 2007!! WTF!!??" but I couldn't...just grimy

I have a lot of other fukked up stories about working at a damn home loan collection center like talking to people who were dying of cancer about their payments and how it didn't matter to them...they'd sound so calm at at peace, and usually just wanted to talk...that is the worst job in the world man :wow:

Breh, its even worse than just help desk and information security. I work as a network architect and I am :mindblown: everyday by what my colleagues don't know. Their knowledge is strictly limited to the bare minimum required to do their job and nothing more.

This goes for software developers too .

Don't assume that just because someone can design a ticket monitoring system in opsview or make an applet in Java that they know how to connect to the companies VPN or simply flush a DNS :mjlol:

Been in this field for 4 years now and I can confidently say that outside of the engineers, most IT/DEV people are borderline computer illiterate. :francis:
Yea I work in Java and most of our office uses .net and I have not the first clue about anything .NET, other than I don't want to learn it

These are people that live in my neighborhood, family members, and friends with assistance through teamviewer. I sit with them, fix the issue and show them how to avoid it in the future, excluding hardware issues which require expensive parts. When I was in HS charging people for jailbreaks, console flashes, and computer issues, I honestly felt bad for the people charged. This might come off as ludicrous from your point of view but I live a very simple life, if I know I'm going to be set until the end of my life, I have no need to charge people for simple issues. I would rather just educate them. When I started CS, I was surprised there was an actual degree for computer technicians, considering most issues can be solved with a google search and youtube tutorials.

Honestly when it comes to software engineers/developers, I might have to give them a pass. :yeshrug:I don't expect them to know things that have nothing to do with their jobs. My oldest brother is a software engineer, makes ~140k, and goes :russell: whenever I start spitting that nerd speak about computers. He doesn't give a damn about any of it lol.

grocery stores throw away a sickening amount of food everyday.

also they have no efficient way of keeping track of things they sell by the pound. so if you get the urge and there are no cameras eat if you want to:myman: just dont take so much that they get:leostare: about it.
Oh yeah that reminds me

I also worked at a local food drive here. I don't know if the other ones are any different but I've not gotten any indication that they were

PRO TIP. IF YOU DONATE TO A FOOD DRIVE, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!! DONATE MONEY

and not food from your shelf, food that you made yourself, food that you bought from Publix

I PROMISE YOU, YOUR shyt WILL GET THROWN AWAY

Most donated food simply doesn't make it past the garbage can. Good food too, but, according to them, if they can't verify that it's sanitary to eat, and came from a reputable source than they for the most part, are going to toss it in the garbage can( an exception to this is canned foods). I've thrown away hundreds of pounds of good raw meat every day that I emptied the freezer. Its sickening. Most if not all of the food that gets used is bought wholesale using donated money.

lol my dad is the same way. Network security expert for 20+ years, yet other than that he does not tolerate talking or thinking about computers ever.

The suburbs
Working in television for 20 years here are a few secrets.

Your skin color determines the breadth and depth of roles being offered to you. Even in 2015, if you are a darkskinned man or woman trying to break in, you are still going to get lines for a dealer, thug, drug addict or streetwalker. We have lengthy meetings about this too, kinda crazy.

MTV made more money off the popularity of Black music in the late 90's/early 2000's than BET did. FACTS.

Unless you know someone in the industry breaking into even behind the scenes (tv production, set coordination, grips, etc) is next to impossible, many of those things are unionized now.
Good thing i know you

here is another secret

it aint like that

the govt records everything
but they are hardly monitor shyt on the reg except shyt related to terrorism

the shyt u see in movies n tv is fake as fukk

only time people get busted cause of shyt on the net is because civilians report it----

that is why there are so many pedos networking for years and not getting caught
and im not just talking about the deep web either

you would think this would be common sense...just in the time it took you to type that out how many phone calls, emails, text, were sent just in your city, let alone your state, now think about the entire country

c'mon now :comeon:
