I worked a bunch of small jobs over the past 16yrs so it's gonna be alot.

My longest job was for a few sports stadium (won't say which ones). Everything from a cup of soda to private suite dining is jacked up 500% (I'm not bullshytting either ) and maybe 75% of the cooks across the board are just plain dirty as fukk.
I've seen them drop raw chicken, hot dogs, burger patties, buns, cups, plates, straws...you name it and its been on the floor dusted off and handed to you for consumption.
Alot of the overall staff was bad about cleanliness too. I've seen them pull out a glass or pan with half washed food still in it and try and send it out because to them it was ok.
Pass on fresh fruit for your drinks. Too many times lemons, limes, oranges get dropped (which may touch bacteria like e-coli or staph) or just collect fruit flies and gnats (which will bury into fruit to lay eggs) and they will still cut it and put it on your $15 double shot of ciroq.
Asking for water thats not from a sealed bottle means you get tap water on ice.
Soda fountains can get very gunky when not cleaned daily. Its been times where I would check the spouts and it would be dead flies trapped where the soda passes through. To this day I'm still taking taps off of soda fountains if a bottled drink isn't available.
I could go on and on but I'm going to stop for now.

Security guards are only placed to deter crime but it never helps. I've always made it clear that I would NEVER put my life on the line to protect anyone else's shyt. Thats probably why I stopped being a security guard lol. Armed security guards might make about $12 an hour. Not enough basically, a criminal sees you with a gun, uniform, and badge and you're a goner. Too many security guards thinking they can be the police and get they ass shot up.
Post office employees will open anything that looks like a greeting card. Its 2015 and people will still send money in the main in greetings card. They take the money/gift card and toss the rest. Put it in a priority flat rate envelope where the contents are hidden.
Grocery stores account for shrinkage (stolen) goods. Just don't be greedy trying to steal a whole damn dinner.
Retail stores in the mall are easy to steal from. They sell sensor removers on aliexpress or if you're really good, a pair of wire cutters. Never leave the sensor where you removed it. Keep a cup from a fast food spot and as you remove them, toss them into the cup then into a trash can later. Best ones are behind the register when a cashier isn't there.

This is going to get me on a list lol. but all you gotta do to rob a bank is wear a hat and some shades. No weapon, slip a note. They have like $5k-$10k in a top drawer designated to give to you. They're not supposed to hit the panic button or lock you in there until your out the bank. They also try their best to not have it on the news because they lose a lot more money by having their bank being publicized in a robbery than what the actual robber took.

Actually just saw an episode of American Greed where the guy did this exact thing and got away with it a bunch of times. Only reason he got caught was cuz he was greedy.

40 yr old Dudes on my last job would make huge paper airplanes out of drawing paper and throw them around the office at each other.

I never partook in that fun for obvious reasons

But it was hilarious to see.

Back when I was in an office shyt was a mad house. We used to have ping pong tournaments in the back part of the building. In the development area they had a projector so for multiple hours a day we'd hook a 360 up to it and have 4 man COD going. Everybody had the airsoft BB guns that they'd shoot at each other. Card tournaments the whole 9. It got to the point people started complaining so they locked everybody else in the company out minus me who they gave a key to. Eventually a visitor snitched when she almost got shot with one of the guns and corporate came in and put an end to all shenanigans.

No, not the Red Cross but a well known and respected organization. Executives in charge were quietly fired and replaced. This spanned beyond just the US and West Africa.

Yeah, corruption in Africa in general is no secret but the parties involved in this case certainly are and will most likely remain that way.

As for Bernie Sanders, I wasn't referring to his individual wealth. I meant that wealthy individuals/corporations have enough resources to prevent populist candidates like him from being elected. He hurts their wealth and profits. This is no secret in itself. The real "secret" is how the wealthy and corporations actually shield their money and profits from taxes overseas.

Used to work at a grocery store.

We know exactly who's stealing and what they're taking but we let you steal for weeks / even months so we can tally up how much you stole and get you for that much..

this is 100% sure. this man is not lying. in the past year it happened to 2 of my coworkers. first guy was someone was a guyanese/indian guy around my age who mainly worked the self checkout. he was stealing money for months(i did not know until they told us) and then they finally brought him into the office...

The total tally was just below $1000 dollars( i forgot the exact amount) so he could not be charged with a felony(this is in NY) cause it was not more than 1000.

Second guy was a black guy 2 months ago who got arrested in the nighttime because they called the police and reported for months he was stealing things like Wic baby formula all the time.

also they have no efficient way of keeping track of things they sell by the pound. so if you get the urge and there are no cameras eat if you want to just dont take so much that they get about it.

It's so easy to steal groceries specifically meat. I put that shyt in a produce bag and ring it up as bananas.

If you wanna go big:

Cover your face COMPLETELY (ski mask). Have a vehicle outside of camera range ready to go. Having a strap is preferable, but you don't necessarily need one. Go into a bank with generally low customer traffic. Audibly state that you will kill anyone that pulls an alarm (bank employees are taught to only pull when they are safe). This is where having an accomplice will help- they can watch the platform/banker side and make sure they aren't doing anything stupid. Audibly state that you want both the top and bottom drawers of each register, WITHOUT BAIT (aka trackers and dye). Employees are taught to follow all commands and to be safe, so it's important that you vocalize this. Have them let you behind the drawer. Don't worry about an employee testing you - they wont. First collect all register drawers. Then have them open the vault drawers (usually will take several people depending on the bank and how they are assigned.) They should be leaving a small stack of bait bills in the drawer/vault. Don't take every last bill. Again, emphasize NO TRACKERS. Collect it all and leave immediately. This shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes.


You can clear around 250k+ from a typical bank doing this. People get away with it all the time.

edit: casing the layout of the bank beforehand helps as well, obviously

That's a felony. If you want to hang around and clear out all the tellers drawers, it's multiple felonies. One for each teller.
When it comes to bank robbery, in the police report, the victim is the teller, not the bank. The bank, is the "victim", but they aren't a person. So if you go to each teller to clear out their drawer, you are adding another victim, which then gets listed as a second robbery. And then, in court, it all adds up. You could have a defense attorney plea bargain you down your time served, but each robbery compounds the time you spend in jail. Be ready to do the time.

I used to work at a library. When we got new books in, I put the security magnetic strip into the spine of the book. Very hard or impossible to get out unless you cut the spine of the book open.

True...here's a few more:

Many of the books you see on shelves are bought from Amazon (new & used), donated/purchased by random people, or cast-offs from book sales. The rest have been there for decades and are probably outdated like crazy, aside from literature/fiction/historical papers.

Some books (and computers) are leased instead of bought like you would a car.

You can "rent" DVD's for free, instead of hitting up Redbox. It just depends if the library has it or if they can request it from another library. Of course, tech is allowing folks to just stream it at home, so...

A library can essentially be a large "411" facility if used right, especially at a university.

Well, that's an interesting comment.
I don't know about the pen being seen as a weapon. It's used to sign stuff and write information down. I see it as an often used and important tool, but not a weapon, unless you need to jab someone with it.
