Overly Dedicated>>>Section.80

See how easy it is to put greater than signs in front of shyt? :beli:

Fact is, I wouldn't slight anyone who preferred Kendrick Lamar EP, Overly Dedicated, Section.80 or GKMC over any of the others. When you say one of those is horrible, you're trolling and doing a bad job at it.

That Overly Dedicated is just :wow:

Fam, I was thinking of which couple tracks should I mention in this post to cosign you, but the whole damn tape is fire :damn: To me it's more listenable, not necessarily better, than Section.80.

More listenable is a good way to describe it, but if it's more listenable, sh!t might as well say it's better than Section80. . :pachaha:

It is such a cohesive and enjoyable listen. Have to say it really is my favorite project of his. Regardless of who feels what is better than what, we've got a legend in the making. Dudes like him only come around every several years.

edit post: Listening to it right now, reminds me of a Roots album.

Honestly, Big K.R.I.T was on that run of flawless tapes and then didn't come through with the album :to: What K. Dot did with the tapes and albums is something I haven't seen since Lupe.

I agree. Section 80 is full of great songs. GKMC is a clever concept, but its an album where you can't really just take individual songs by themselves and listen to em, with a few exceptions.

Section 80 has more individual standout tracks while GKMC as a whole cohesive project is where it shines. Thats why i have GKMC is step above but i can see why someone would prefer S.80. Nonetheless both are some of the best projects to come out in the last few yrs.

Still think Section.80 is better. I also think it's just as cohesive as Good Kid M.A.A.D. City. it's more ambitious as well(captures an entire generation rather than just Kendrick's life story)

bytch dont kill my vibe, backseat freestyle, art of peer pressure, money trees, maad city, swimming pools & compton. They are the songs i will go to if i want to get hype. You can listen to all of them individually, especially once you have grasped the concept of the album.

Sing about me, im dying of thirst is my favorite track and one i go to if im on my travels somewhere.

I have no issue with anyone saying Section 80 is better though. But for dude to say GKMC is trash, thats just blasphemy
