It ain't about that. He's hurt that they'd save that 5 year deal for someone that didn't prove anything yet on the NBA level. I can see why he's mad about that. He should have stopped being mad about that once Rubio got him any sort of team success.

As for whether losing Love would hurt, here's how I look at it: the team lost KG and that hurt a lot. The team never lost much at PF though. This team just has a history of having PF production. They went from KG to Al Jefferson to Kevin Love. Whether he leaves or gets traded or whatever, I can confidently say we're not gonna miss much of a beat at PF. Good PF play in Minny might as well fall out of trees. Franchise players, THOSE guys you have to bend over backwards for. I hope they continue to do that... for Rubio.

Oh, and it's no surprise Vaginarowski wrote this article. Probably wrote it with the :noah: face.

:heh:

Did you just call Rubio a franchise player?

Tre's stance on Rubio is on par with my stance on Don Mattingly (the Greatest White Man of All Time and hands down the Greatest Baseball Player of All Time :birdman:).

Rubio's coming off ACL and LCL tears and can't shoot. You'd think he was a top 5 PG the way people hype him.

If people hyped him the way you think they do, who would care about what Love had to say?

Why does this article continuously refer to Kevin Love as an All NBA First Teamer?

It's Woj. He also kept calling him an Olympian even though the deal was signed before he ever got named to the team.

By most accounts, Woj has an axe to grind.
Love addressing his comments in recent Yahoo article: "I've talked to David and Coach. We are moving on."

Love: "We have a chance of making something this year special and for yrs to come. The acquisitions we made this offseason I'm fine with."

Love: "I'm done talking about this situation. We are moving on and looking forward to the future." #Twolves

Love regrets comments became public. Says he'd love to end his career as a Timberwolves. #Twolves

Kevin Love: "I thought the article would be more positive. I said a lot of positive things" #twolves

Love: "I have nothing to apologize for" #twolves

That doesn't make any sense. That's like asking "if people are hyping LeBron as the best player in the league, why does anyone care whether Wade feels he needs more touches?"

Rubio's hype from GMs and fans alike is stamped, certified, and filed. We even had that NBA Geek guy wilding out last season on our podcast suggesting he was better than Westbrook at that moment, and that he deserved MVP votes. And the T-Wolves clearly think a guy whose ceiling is a worse version of Rajon Rondo is their franchise player, which is comical to me.
