i don't think that camera only self-driving (tesla) is going to work anytime soon. as elon/twatter himself admits you need to solve visual AI to solve the driving issue and I think that will take a bit longer. creh needs lidar / radar.

GM’s Super cruise is a far more superior self driving feature than Teslas

That's what I've been saying for awhile - I've used both. Super Cruise only works on highways though (which makes sense, there's more predictability with the traffic there). A shame GM didn't continue making the CT6 though, it was one of their best cars.

I used to think self driving cars weren't too far off. Too much risk and negative press if one crashes; which is seemingly infrequent, but it's frequent enough I'm not gonna do that shyt in my lifetime. I might turn it on real quick on the highway way to check something on my phone. But this seems like a dumb and unnecessary way to die, when normal driving works just fine.

YOU CAN GET A TEST DRIVER POSITION THESE DAYS FOR MEH PAY. I THINK THE GOING RATE FOR NON COMPANY DRIVERS IS ABOUT 15/HR. THAT'S FOR OVER THE ROAD TESTING. CLOSED TRACK TESTING IS SIGNIFICANTLY MORE BUT COMES WITH CREDENTIALS.

I HAVE QUITE A FEW DRIVING CERTS. TRUTH BE TOLD, I MIGHT BE A TOP 3 DRIVER ON THIS SITE. I HAVE WELL OVER A MILLION DOCUMENTED MILES IN EVERYTHING FROM SUB-COMPACT TO HEAVY DUTY TRUCKS.
