Elaborate....
Sure in the TM case they focused on his record at school, his drug use, the nihilism in his text etc. to paint a picture of an individual that was hard to feel sorry for. Same thing with MB, his music, the "unconfirmed" robbery video, the records of his associates, etc.

On a side note I listened to a white guy read the lyrics to one of MB's songs :russ: shyt was hilarious and :wow: at the same time.

:why:

:whoa:labeling him a thug = he deserves to be gunned down to you guys.....

:ohhh:That clears up a lot.

:ehh:My bad then.
Your opposition to people saying it was unjust for him to have been shot, is bringing up the fact that he might be a thug.

So what are you implying? Why even bring up any of the crap that you did? It's all unrelated to the shooting.

That's not a cruel vicious robbery in the video. The theft wasn't even reported by the store owner.
... what does the store owner not reporting it have to do with anything? Is an unreported wrong no longer wrong? Is his unwillingness to undermine MB's character in the face of rioters surprising to you? or does it become OK in some shape or form because of the owners position?

Seriously?

To me, he's a thief... period... and I don't see any circumstance that okays or lifts him above a thief... enlighten me please.

Whether or not he was a thug, has nothing to with whether or not he deserved to die...

I have made no assertions as to the just or unjust nature of the officers actions. i'm just saying labeling him a thug based solely on whats been put out, isn't a reach.

Thief=/=Thug

And in the video he clearly paid for something and put something back. It's not even clear that he's a thief at this point.

The store owner reporting it is important because he is the number one witness of the event. If anybody can say what happened its him.

So who cares whether he deserved to die or not, you just wanted to make it clear that he might have been a thug.

So let me ask you this. Why is that the part of the story you wanted to make a stand on. There's plenty other evidence and plenty more to talk about. Why did you choose to talk about his "thuggery"

If he reported it a robbery, would your opinion change? :sas1:

Lol at white people not understanding racism. Would you be blind to the fact that some kid always seems to get picked on and blamed for everything while another kid gets away with murder and the teacher looks away. That's as elementary as you can make it but, eventually you'd notice the two kids got treated differently. Don't ever listen to white people who say that dumb shiit. They know full and well what blacks have to deal with it. They don't care.

I'm not making a stand, i'm arguing that it isn't a reach based off of the information most people have to assume he was thuggish. I'm not even saying that it's true... I'm just saying it doesn't take a racist or biased mind to reach that conclusion, based on the information available.

... and most people do label artist that rap about thuggin, thugs. :manny: It sort of comes with the territory, add to that, the fact that the key witness Dorian has a warrant out for his arrest... for theft of all things, and its an easy conclusion to reach, however inaccurate it may be.

the black cat is my crown...
Incarceration of Black Men is Big Business in Amerikkka

A Black President Cannot Change That

There needs to be more black men becoming police officers in minority communities and the community has to fighting back against the stop snitching campaigns of the low life elements.
black people also need to start owning businesses in our communities.... if we did that, it would solve the "snitching" issue... +1 to needing more black police officers in our communities...

The US has to come to gripes with its race problem and inequality. There are a lot of unresolved issues that were left open ended after the initial push of the civil rights movement.

I have a white friend, god bless her heart but she's clueless. Partly because she didn't grow up rich but partly because she just walls herself off from the segregation of the U.S. In many ways, I probably grew up in a more stable household (even though it was in the hood). This article is spot on.
