This idea that we should sit back and let cities and states flounder during a global pandemic is laughable. In terms of “bailouts” let’s get something straight: both NY and California saw revenue increases thanks to taxes last year. Helping out every state’s budget during this crisis is a good idea and will make the economic recovery faster.

Haters need to get their bars off tho, I get it. And next year when the economy is zooming along I’m sure you’ll be calling it the Trump recovery and saying Biden hasn’t gotten anything done.

but what about the starving corporations in Midtown Manhattan

The change now allows the credit to be advanced to parents in periodic payments, likely $300 or $320 a month. The payments would start in July and last through December, meaning parents would receive a total of $1,800 or $1,920 over the final six months of 2021. The remainder would be claimed as a credit on 2021 taxes,

AGI will be determined by 2019 or 2020 tax fillings

The IRS is currently developing an online portal to allow individuals to update income, marital status and number of qualifying children. The portal will also give people a way to opt out of the advance payments in favor of taking the full credit on their 2021 returns

For 1400?

:mjlol:

First off I don’t even get the check so miss me w/ the slick talk.

And yes, for fukkin 1400. Even w/ Trump losing, if those GA senate seats didn’t both flip Blue then republicans would have enough votes to block any stimulus. And you should be clear here, republicans would have stopped any stimulus.

And this stimmy just sets the precedent. Think of what else democrats can pass without having to get approval from republicans.

So yes, Atlanta says you’re welcome for the $1,400. That is, unless you won’t be taking the check? :mjlol:

Both of those seats weren't flipping blue if that $2,000 never came into the equation. I don't get why some people are still acting like that isn't the case lol.
